We're winning the second half.  There's that.

Patu to Reuben TD!

And, Ashten Daniels with a nice keeper. Of course the D isn't first string but so what.

I believe he said it was in David Shaw’s “lifetime”.

Not sure, but I think Stanford’s medical staff pulled Kyu Blue Kelly after seeing him get up a little funny following a tackle.

Might have been influenced by the Tua incident. Camera caught Kelly upset at something, probably being pulled from the game.

has Shaw's press conference begun yet?

How about this question:

“Coach Shaw, how about them Wolverines?”

Well, yeah, and Iowa won the second half of the 2016 Rose Bowl 16-10.

It's mercifully over.  10+ minutes of rehashed platitudes.  The main message: this team will be better toward the end of the season than it is now.

He also highlighted the turnover bug as a factor contributing to our dismal performance.  Hmmm, I counted one on each team.

Gallows mood.  The 2016 Rose Bowl was the apogee of Shaw's tenure.  It's been a saw-tooth descent into irrelevance since then.

Showboating after every play, zillions of penalties, but they have Stanford outtalented by a mile.

Oregon players remind me of the U. Miami teams of Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson where there was a team dance contest after each score.

It's a scary thought that we are going to be worse next year without McKee and an experienced OL.

Why do you think McKee will be gone?

He's an older college student and already married. He will want to take care of his family. Potential NFL money could be too attractive to pass up. If he stays another year, with an inexperienced line, his stock may go further down.

As much as he's getting creamed, I doubt McKee makes it through this season without serious injury.
