Dave Parker won the first Major League Baseball Home Run Derby, held in 1985 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis. The Cincinnati Reds outfielder slugged six home runs to capture the inaugural title.

Beginning in 1934 a College All Star team used to play the NFL previous year champs in a charity game in Chicago to kick off the next season.. The series ended in 1973. Four San Francisco 49er players won game MVP honors in the game. Who?

Yes Kilmer. At UCLA a single wing tailback and early with the 49ers one of three QBs with Brodie and Muddy Waters as they alternated depending on the call
1954 it was Carlton Massey who I don’t remember
1970’?

Billy Kilmer was my first football "hero". I recall SBVII was the first football game I ever watched. My dad was cheering for the Redskins to beat the Dolphins. Naturally, I rooted for Washington also, and Billy Kilmer was the QB. I became a lifelong Billy Kilmer fan and learned to despise the Cowchips.
Before he became a quarterback, he was a RB/wing as mentioned. He'd be the answer to the trivia question who fumbled the ball that Jim Marshall returned the wrong direction for an opponent's touchdown.

Maverick McNealy was +3 after 2 rounds of the British Open, missing the cut (by 2 strokes) for the first time in a major this year. Eleven golfers made the cut in all 4 majors this season. Who are they?
BTW, Michael Thorbjornsen did make the cut. He was at -2 after 2 rounds and shot +1 today putting him in a tie for 38th at -1.

I wonder how much longer McNealy will play. My dad is convinced that he's going to retire from golf within the next two years.
Golfers who made all four cuts in majors, here's my wild guess -- I listed 12:
Scheffler
Burns
Young
Si Woo Kim
Morikawa
Rodgers
Homa
Lowry
Schauffele
McIlroy
Raum
Straka

Well done Mick! You got 6 of the 11 - Scheffler, Burns, Young, Morikawa, Schauffele, & McIlroy .
Remaining 5 include: a Swede; the 1921 Masters champion; a 5'-7" golfer who was tied for the record low round score of 63 in a major (final round of 2026 PGA) until the 62s this week at Royal-Birkdale; a relatively unknown 24-year old 2-time ACC champion from Wake Forest; and the 2017 & 2022 PGA champion.
BTW, Thorbjornsen shot an even par round of 70 today to finish in a tie (with Rory, among others) for 40th at -1 for the tournament

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you meant Hideki Matsuyama, the 2021 Masters winner.
