Only two other teams besides the Niners have any players who have won at least four Super Bowls with that team. Who are they?

one has to be Tom Brady (and probably other Patriots) and probably a lot of the stars of the Steel Curtain era Steelers so I'll guess Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swan, John Stallworth, Rocky Bleier, Mean Joe Green, L.C. Greenwood, and Mel Blount (some may not have won four) and maybe others

Yup, it’s the 70’s era Steelers, who had 22(!) players with four Super Bowl championships between 1975 and 1980, the aforementioned Niners, and Tom Brady from the Patriots. Shockingly, none of the other Patriots were on more than three Super Bowl winning Patriot teams. Adam Vineteri won three with the Patriots and a fourth with the Colts.

That's an interesting threshold.
Everyone knows Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls. No other player has won six.
35 players have been on teams that won four Super Bowls.
- 22 Pittsburgh Steelers were on those teams that won four super bowls closely together.
- Ted Hendricks won three with the Raiders, one with the Colts.
- Marv Fleming is the only ex-Packer...and ex-Dolphin, two each.
- All the 49ers you mentioned, plus Romanowski who won two with the Niners and two with the Broncos.
- Adam Vinatieri, Rob Gronkowski and Joe Thuney played on Super Bowls with the Patriots, and also the Colts, Buccaneers and Chiefs, respectively.
So...two questions. Only one player has been on
five winning Super Bowl teams. And only one player has played for three different Super Bowl winning teams. Both are ex-49ers. Who are they?

Charles Haley. Several with Niners several with Cowboys maybe 5? Plus his daughter played soccer at Stanford

Haley had two with the Niners and three with the (boo) Cowboys.
I found it interesting that the Steelers had so many players with four Super Bowl rings, the Niners, a decade later, had about a quarter as many, and then two decades after that, only Brady managed to win four with the Patriots. I think it says something about team stability over the ages. It also says something about Brady, that he could win Super Bowls with the entire team turning over around him.

A couple stats to consider:
The Niners had 16 consecutive years of
double digit wins.
The Steelers had 9 consecutive winning seasons.
Walsh built his program around sustained success by turning over the roster. His mantra, “better to move them out a year too early rather than a year too late” says it all.
Pittsburgh was like a shooting star, a short burst that was loaded with tons of power.
A very short and simplistic look but one that may summarize why there is such a difference between the two franchises in their respective golden eras.

Along those lines, Chuck Noll used to claim that he was all set to draft Dan Marino from local university Pittsburgh. He claims he went and asked Terry Bradshaw how much he had left in the tank, and Bradshaw supposedly told Noll he was good to go for another season. Noll drafted an NT #21 overall in 1983 who had a six-game NFL career. Marino was drafted #27 overall (one spot ahead of fellow HoFer Darrell Green) and Bradshaw played one more game and called it quits.
If Noll had any foresight at all, he would have drafted Marino. You don't draft a QB to start him immediately, he needs a year or three to acclimatize to the NFL game.
BTW, the 49ers first draft choice that year was Roger Craig in the second round...and recent hall of fame member. Seven first round draft picks that year were Hall of Fame members, including Elway, Marino, Green, Jim Kelly, Jimbo Covert, Eric Dickerson and Jimbo Covert. Craig was selected in the second round, and Richard Dent was an 8th round selection out of Tennessee State...and Hall of Famer.

You are correct, Sir! Charles Haley's record...
San Francisco 49ers (XXIII, XXIV)
Dallas Cowboys (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX)

You and Bob are both right, BC, it was Charles Haley. And the only player to have won three Super Bowls with three separate teams was Matt Millen (who won four, two with the Raiders, one with the Niners and one with Washington):
Oakland Raiders (XV, XVIII)
San Francisco 49ers (XXIV)
Washington Redskins (XXVI)
I think both Walsh and DeBartolo thought they should have won more Super Bowls, particularly in the pre-salary cap days. And Montana's career was prior to the introduction of the salary cap in 1994.
Supposedly, Walsh thought Montana was relaxing too much -- or was hurt -- and that's why he went after Steve Young and added him to the roster in 1988, three years after the 1985 Super Bowl season. They went 10-6 in 1985, but lost in the first round to the Giants. They went 10-5-1 in 1986, but lost in the first round of the playoffs 49-3 to the Giants. THey went 13-2 in 1987, but lost in the first round to the Vikings, 36-24.
After a second Super Bowl win after the 1984 season, Walsh thought Joe was slacking, and he had had it. So he went and got Steve Young. And I know that Joe Montana is credited with four Super Bowl wins, but if Steve Young doesn't make this run in a 24-21 win on 10/30/88 against the Vikings, the Niners end up 9-7 and miss the playoffs:
Steve Young's famous 49-yard game-winning touchdown vs. Vikings | October 30, 1988
Five NFC teams finished 10-6 that season, and the Giants and Saints missed out on the playoffs. With a loss to the Vikings, the Niners would have finished 9-7. Montana went 8-5 as a starter that season, Young went 2-1. Montana had terrible games before (loss vs. Bears) and after (loss vs. Raiders) Young's starts.
So...yeah, Montana gets credit for four Super Bowl Wins. But I give Young credit for one-and-a-half

Koufax wasn't around enough...I'm guessing you're referring to Tom Seaver. His dad, Charles played golf at Stanford -- he was a friend and contemporary of my grandfather's, both were in the same business. In a roundabout way, Charles invented raisin bran.

Two pitchers are on MLB's all-time career Top 10 leader list in all three of the following categories:

2. Most shutouts.
3. Most home runs given up.

In their SF history, only four Giants have been designated as a captain of the team. Who are they?
