Not just any writer. Ruth Robbins, who is sort of a legendary Huskies message board publisher and recruiting news reporter. If she can be a homer, she will. So if RR is saying Sarell to Stanford, it's pretty much a lock.

Interesting that Robbins has favored Stanford all the way, except for a fairly brief period when she went neutral. I wonder if that might have mirrored Sarell's thought patterns. He favored Stanford early, reconsidered when Washington had a big year and put the full court press on him, and now has gone back to Stanford. I hope so.

Somehow I lost my press freebie. I do miss TMF and The Borg.

I am certain that Walker Little and his parents had family friends connected with Stanford. We should all continue to be exemplary brand ambassadors for Stanford and what it means to be a Stanford sports fan.

Add Levani Damuni? I think he and Warner are critical. Right now zero LBs. Crazy.

This may have been posted somewhere and I missed it.

"Having been committed to the Irish since mid-June, an underachieving 4-8 Irish season and the ensuing fire sale that occurred among the coaching staff undoubtedly pushed Adebo to back out of his commitment. Once he was immersed and educated about the unique blend of academic and athletic opportunity at Stanford that has lured many a recruit out west, I dont think Adebo wasted anytime in committing to play four years of football at his dream school."

Thought Gabe Reid was a DL and not OLB.
Any reason why Damuni is not listed amongst our primary targets at the top of this thread?

Damani should be added. He commits Saturday.
Reid is projected as a LBer at Stanford

We landed Levani Damuni. Three-star LB.

BC, any reason that you had not already added him to the list at the top of the thread? I believe our interest in him, and v.v., was known some time ago... Maybe you had other information?

With Damuni added, now we are just waiting on Weddington, with an eye also on Warner and Johnson, right? Anyone else I'm missing?
The late additions of Wade-Perry, Adebo and Damuni, added to Gabe Reid's return from his mission, has relieved some of my anxiety about the dearth of D players added. Adding either Johnson or Warner (or dare I hope for both?) would really make this class outstanding on both sides of the football.

OF, I found it here and it was pretty entertaining:

Thanks for the tip. I noticed Bleacher Report mentioned at the end of both videos. Perhaps they contact the recruits and handle the production?

Yes, BR has been doing them for several recruits. I completely appreciate the creativity, but question the "look at me" nature of these mini movie commitment announcements. And as Wedington's case suggests, can't help but wonder if the envelope will be pushed so far that someone gets hurt trying to outdo others. That's what tends to happen in these situations.
