Giving up 220 yards rushing will do that. Plus our own senior qb is only 9/17 for 61 yards.

One of the weird parts of that drive: a few plays featured receivers running...to the same spot.

Well, we made it a one score game, but it was an ugly drive. Hogan is really struggling out there. Our receivers are dropping balls. When we tried to run, we had trouble getting a push. We benefitted from Northwestern only rushing three and by some penalties. At least we scored, and Ukropinia looked good kicking into the wind.
A turnover would be nice.

Ouch. A team that struggles against this NW team will struggle against 80% of our schedule.  Hogan looks off and both lines, but particularly our D-Line, are being outplayed by sub par Big 10 lines. Stanford receivers playing with off season rust and Roberto Duran hands.Â
Any silver linings I'm missing?
Announcer just said, "Stanford D looks like a scout team out there ..... I'd be a little embarrassed if I were a Stanford fan."
