ESPN is reporting that Charlie Weis , Â currently the OC for the KC Chiefs, is the new OC for the Florida Gators under Muschamp. Â Â I wonder if Muschamp bought Weis\' Â line about "distinct schematic advantage" Â when he was calling the plays. Â Which would mean, Â Charlie couldn\'t recruit worth beans if his players had a distinct schematic advantage and still floundered.

Fat Man? Â I thought you were referring to Hal Mickelson. Â It would be wonderful to have him back as band announcer for a special occasion like the Orange Bowl.

KC Chiefs, divisional champion. Â Dunno how he did it, not using Dexter McCluster all that much and with an inconsistent QB and iffy receiving corps. Â Helps to have Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones in the backfield though I guess.

On TV yesterday they said it was a done deal. Â Now their headline story is he has been approached and offered by Florida. Â Yet within that story the done-deal report continues to live on.
Go figure. Â Leaving the rejuvenated Chiefs doesn\'t compute in many ways, Â so who knows where this merry go round will stop?

Spiney don\'t know where you live or if you were there. Â But last year at a Council of Chiefs, IIRC pre Sun Bowl, or maybe pre cal, Hal was there and leading us in cheers. Â A fantastic person. Â
