ESPN College Game Day devotes an entire commercial-break-to- commercial-break segment on Michigan vs. Mississippi St., of which 15 seconds is devoted to the actual game. The rest-- 5 minutes plus-- devoted to the firing hiring of Harbaugh by Michigan and the sham keep/fire Rodriquez process. Never wanted to kill Lee Corso more. Fill with concrete whatever mascot head Corso\'s going to put on today and let him suffocate on national TV.

This new higher level of angst is not a new story now. During the week, the story goes, the NFL teams trying to lure Harbaugh have learned that it is hopeless because he is Michigan bound. Some, like the 49ers, are still trying, but they all believe they have no chance. This is what they are saying on NFL-oriented shows.
I suspect RichRod\'s post-game interview will reveal that he knows his hours are numbered. And I suspect that next Saturday Michigan will have a new coach. Michigan\'s recruiting is suspiciously light so far, so somebody will need to find 10-15 recruits. Hmmmm....
Since the NFL shows have mentioned this new NFL perspective on JH endlessly, it would be crazy for a college sports show with a feature on Michigan football to skip that rumor.

.....when JH was hired.
He was going to be successful here, the football pedigree was just too good not to.
However, he had the kind of football name, that once successful at Stanford, he would have other teams falling all over themselves trying to hire him.
I\'m currently doubting our ability to keep him. Then again, I doubted our ability to go 11-1 this year. Â So we\'ll see what happens.

truth be told, many on this Board actually doubted his ability to win at Stanford, and thought BB had made a mistake!
I\'m not going to worry about any of this until I return from Miami -- off to the airport... Go Cardinal!

RR was combative at best, he clearly knows that he is gone. Â And his attitude seemed to reveal that the folks at Ann Arbor believe the grass is greener in Palo Alto.
The Broncos hired Elway and job #1 is to try to get JH to coach.
The 49ers are using that local angle.
But both feel they will lose out to UofM.
ESPN declares on NFL Gameday that it is probably down to those three. Only one thing is certain, he will not be at Stanford in 2011.

Worse, JH was seen eating corn on Saturday under the azure Florida sky...and you know what corn is ...maize...and azure is blue. Â JH was signaling that maize and blue is in his future.

The truth is, JH has said nothing that would lead to the speculation. Â Quite to the contrary both he and his family have all said pro-Stanford things (including the smack at UM academics).
What little hard evidence there is suggests that he is staying...including the latest speculation that Luck is staying (and Luck would not stay without JH).
It\'s 2012 that\'s is in dispute..

I know Glenn and I hope you and others who are lucky enough to be able to attend have a GREAT time and that we beat VaTech like Alabama beat the remarkably overrated Michigan State.
Since you\'re in the TV biz, is there any truth to the rumor that the writers of the Sopranos are suing the BIG TEN since they\'re now going to be called the BIG Pussy?
