Something you don't see every day - Redrum - 10-23-2015

...or last night because the talking heads were yamma-yammaing during halftime.  I thought this was refreshingly different for the necessary schools' cooperation and the mutual antagonism for USC, which is ALWAYS appropriate in ANY situation.

Also noted there are a LOT of empty seats, even accounting for half-time bathroom breaks.  The Rose Bowl can't overcome its 1920's roots.  I wonder how long they can withstand the pressure for additions to the east side similar to those in the pavillion on the west side .  Being the Grand Daddy of Them All as structure doesn't have the prestige it once had.

PS, my grandfather helped with the fundraising for the Rose Bowl early 1920s make-over and the family got comped Rose Bowl tickets for decades up to when I was a kid. The gravy train ran out just when I was old enough to really want to go see the games.

Actually, you see it every four years, apparently.
