I guess we are now producing two videos each week, a highlight package and a pre game package.

Thanks BC... Didn't get to watch the game. Was listening to KZSU and following the ESPN gametracker.
Really nice to see an animated and happy Shaw lead the team out. Important for the team to stay loose and keep having fun as expectations mount.

I forgot about Marx's catch! I don't remember what the actual spider 2 y banana play entailed, and I think a lot of us were just calling any FB catch one, but whatever that play was I liked it and want to see more of it!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a spider-2-y-banana play, but a fullback screen. We used the screen a fair number of times last night to good effect; the Washington linebackers were overeager to try to get to our backfield and as a result, we were able to capitalize. On the other hand, the one time that UW tried a screen on us, great recognition by the defensive linemen and a linebacker (Kalambayi?) was able to bat the ball down.
Speaking of screens, did anyone see Clemson-Miami game? Oh, man, did Clemson nail Miami with a screen.

I believe that the Marx screen started as a fake quick throw to Love to the right. Excellent use of Love as a decoy.Â

Love has sprung so many big plays as a decoy. (The TD pass to McCaffrey being another example.)

We can't discuss the Marx screen with mention of Josh Garnett's handiwork. I suggest you watch this over and over and over.

Come on number 3! Block one more second and Marx has a TD :)
Re: Highlights -

One more second and it's a holding call. Rector did the right thing by disengaging.

I think it's more that Rector didn't keep driving the DB back while blocking. "Block him into the Gatorade cart" is what I like to see out of WRs--clear the would-be tackler from the field of play.
Re: Highlights -
Hey - 10-25-2015
Mike Tyler also had a deflected pass. It was nice to see him contribute.
Garnett's blocking! Sheesh.
Re: Highlights -
fullmetal - 10-26-2015
UW #14, JoJo McIntosh, is a 6'0" 196lb redshirt freshman out of Chaminade Prep. He came in with slightly lowered pads and was lifted off his feet by Garnett, who got his hands under JoJo's pads. Definitely a better block than the one Chryst threw :) Too bad Stanford #3 (Rector) hadn't kept driving into UW #3.
Still, not a bad play!
