More pressure on the tight ends to produce.

Cajuste out? - OutsiderFan - 10-31-2015

Reported to be out because he's sick.

Is this the game Trent Irwin steps up?  Seems it is time.

Re: Today in our attrition - dabigv13 - 10-31-2015

Maisel reporting Cajuste left practice Wednesday early. So at least we've had a few days to gameplan around it.

Ummm...he's a true freshman. Maybe impatience isn't the appropriate emotion here.

Re: Today in our attrition - OutsiderFan - 10-31-2015

Plenty of True Frosh have an impact all over college football.  And it's now game 8 after a bye. Irwin was one of the best WR recruits in the country.  Elite players make early impacts.

Re: Today in our attrition - martyup - 11-01-2015

It was a tough game for receivers.  Love and CMAC led the team in catches.

Yup, our receivers and tight ends had 4 catches for 31 yards, and a few key drops.

And Meeks, ahem.

Re: Today in our attrition - Brainiac_Infinite - 11-01-2015

Meeks player of the game.  Hogan a very close second..

Re: Today in our attrition - stupac2 - 11-01-2015

Hooper picked a really bad day to have his worst game as a Cardinal. Fortunately we managed to eke it out, but we can't do that again this year.

Re: Today in our attrition - ChicagoCard - 11-01-2015

New posts to this thread make me nervous... Any news on the status of Kevin Palma?

Nothing about it from Drukarev, so I think Shaw didn't address it in his post-game comments. I assume we'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out, unless Palma himself says something. Seems like Davis did a good enough job filling in.

Mostly, Perez was the one who filled in for Palma. Davis played a little bit.

How long was Perez out after he got banged up?

Re: Today in our attrition - TrumpCard - 11-01-2015

Perez was just out for a minute.  He played almost the entire game after Palma left.
I am curious about Cajuste.  I hope "illness" is just the flu and that he'll be better by next week.

If it is "just" the flu, I hope that it doesn't spread throughout the team.

Tis the (flu) season, or close to it.

If we've learned anything from the Jabrill Peppers episode, it's that college football players can be prolific distributors of pathogens.
