I so enjoyed listening to Hogan.  What a mature, thoughtful, modest young man.  His analysis on why the passing game did not work well in the first half was interesting.  He says the weather was not too bad, but that he was going through his progressions too fast.  He needed to wait a bit longer on his 1st target because if he progresses too fast to the 2nd and 3rd they won't be ready yet.  In one case Rector was his 1st read and did get open, but he had already moved on to his 2nd read and the 2nd was not ready.  He wound up taking a sack.  So it sounds like a little nervous energy causing him to speed up a bit too much rather than relax and feeling the proper rhythm of the progression.

In seasons past I would have taken last night's passing performance as a very discouraging sign.  This season, I'm confident it's an aberration.
