Hard to believe these QB's were 1-2 in the Voldemort voting race and the number 1 pick in consecutive drafts. Combined, their stats:
6/22 for 55 yards, 0 TD's, 2 INT's. I mean, the weather sucks, but wow.

Maybe he's trying to get himself traded.
Gruden has commented all night that the receivers are failing to get separation, so it's not all on him. But he tries to force it into space when there is none. Maybe that works when he's 100%, but he's obviouisly not right now.

That has been his pattern... get behind by a bunch, then attempt to lead a comeback. He led the team to touchdowns the last two drives (including one to Fleener), and while still unlikely, he has 2:27 left to lead the team to a field goal. We'll see if they are able to convert the on side kick and/or stop the Panthers.

Maybe, but an expected onside kick is somewhere in the 10-30% range of odds of success, and they'd get the ball nearly in FG range already, meaning even if you did stop them decent chance you now need a TD. Meanwhile, if you stop them after the kickoff you get the ball with decent field position and two minutes left. I don't think it's necessarily obvious which gives you better odds.

Shows how little I know. I had a bad feeling Newton would be able to find the yards with his legs but that holding call made that unlikely.
Nice to see Griff coming up with some big catches down the stretch. It's weird that they've used him in the 4th quarter so much this year but so little in the first three.

I'm not sure why they keep throwing deep. Whalen just caught another first down pass underneath and Luck spikes it. Second and 10.
