New poll tomorrow -- how would you rank them? -
Jskass - 11-07-2015
Given today and tonight's football games, I'm wondering what you'd expect in the new poll tomorrow. Presumably LSU falls but not outside the top 10...as far as some other teams...

Alabama #1, for holding the Voldemort favorite to less than 40 yards.
LSU#2, for losing to the new #1 in a competitive game on the road.
Others,
Others
Others
Stanford #10, no credit for beating Colorado
Utah #11, likely viewed as second best Pac-12 team
Michigan State and TCU fall below Stanford, but Oklahoma State zips above Stanford. Almost not joking about the SEC logic. My guess is Alabama moves to #3, LSU falls to #6 or so.

I'd be shocked if LSU isn't ahead of Michigan State. I also think Oklahoma State will be ahead of ND.

Well, LSU got dominated today and they did only barely beat Miss State. As for the Big 12, the conference is a joke. Plays nobody out of conference, and the teams in it don't play any defense at all. UDFG lost to Clemson - the #1 team - by 2 pts at Clemson. UDFG > ANY Big 12 team.

You don't think LSU will be in the Top 10 with only one loss, and that to Alabama? C'mon.
I am also at 85% that Iowa will be ranked ahead of us.

Iowa is undefeated but they have one incredibly weak schedule. They have faced none of the top teams in their conference, and won't for the rest of the season.
Ohio State
Clemson
Alabama
Notre Dame
Oklahoma State
Baylor
Stanford
Iowa
Oklahoma
LSU

I don't care that much about the AP, so I'll do the CFP rankings. We will definitely pass Michigan State and TCU, but will probably get passed by Oklahome State (no losses and best win over an 8-1 TCU is better than our double-digit loss and best win over 7-2 UCLA). Iowa with their 30-point win over Northwestern and no losses should be ahead of us as well.
The only question in my mind is whether they'll move us past Florida, which looked pretty bad against Vandy, has their loss against LSU looking worse, and their best win is now just a 7-3 Ole Miss. I say we pass them. I think Utah might also pass MSU (both beat Michigan, but losing to Nebraska is worse than losing to USC). Thus, I predict the CFP rankings on Tuesday will be
1. Clemson
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. ND
5. Baylor
6. Oklahoma State
7. Iowa
8. Stanford
9. Florida
10. Utah
11. Michigan State
The playoff should be doable if we win out, but to be honest, I'd be mighty happy with a Pac-12 championship. Let's beat the Ducks this Saturday and clinch the North.

What I think the rankings SHOULD be:
Clemson
Alabama
UDFG
Iowa - pounding NW on the road looks better as NW shows it's a top 20 team
LSU - Bama is better but they are still damn good
Stanford
Utah
Florida
Oklahoma St - one "quality" win against a team with no quality wins
Ohio St - ZERO quality wins
I care very little what your record is if you haven't played anyone.
What I think the rankings WILL be:
Clemson
Ohio State
Alabama
Oklahoma St
UDFG
LSU
Baylor
Iowa
Florida
Stanford
