Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

SC has the ball first and are just physically outmatching opponents. Colorado missed an easy tackle on a bubble screen and then SC is just not being stupid and running the ball straight down the Buffs' gut.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

Whoa, and then the Buffaloes stiffen and stop them on 3rd and 1. SC going for it on 4th and inches... and make it pretty easily.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

Colorado up 7-3. In the three drives since SC's first, the Buffaloes have looked...pretty good.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 11-13-2015

Torn on who to pull for.  An SC loss would give Utah more breathing room in the South, but would diminish our win against them...however we beat Colorado as well, so perhaps SOS is a wash?

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

Poor Buffs. Up 7-3. Complete a long pass down to the SC 30. Looking great. Then SC sacks Sefo Liufau, and injures him. Backup comes in...he gets sacked. CU to punt, and, well, that sucks.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

Whoa! Kessler threw a pick and after a long return, the Buffs are in business at the SC 25.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 11-13-2015

Irrelevant but I think these black on black Colorado unis are really slick.  Any word on when we're wearing ours?

Nice to see Troy Walters as well.  He gave me some of my earliest Stanford football memories as a kid.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

14-3, Colorado. Our big win is looking more impressive.

Does it hurt Utah as they lost to USC?

It means SC has the tiebreaker.  So if Utah and SC finish tied in the South, while they would technically share the crown, SC would punch their ticket to the title game.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - washingtonismoney - 11-13-2015

Colorado just ran the same play we did (the Dalton Schultz TD) for a TD. 27-24, SC in the lead.

I saw that, pretty neat.

Colorado turns it over on downs with 2 min left.  Great effort but Wasn't meant to be.  Maybe this will convince tge computers that sc is not all that.

NW leading Purdue 14-7 midway through Q2.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2015

Watching all these early games, my conclusion is the Big Ten Sucks.  I'm beginning the think even if Ohio State goes undefeated, they should be out over a 1 loss UDFG, Stanford, or even Clemson.  I'd take a Big 12 undefeated over an undefeated Big Ten team.  Just wretched football across the board.

That said, TCU is now tied at half with WINLESS KANSAS!

I figured when you said "winless" you meant in conference, but then I looked and, wow, winless overall.  Though with an OOC schedule of Memphis, SDSU, and Rutgers, they have the closest thing to a real OOC schedule of the whole Big 12.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2015

To be fair to TCU (maybe), Trevon Boykin is out injured.  Makes me wonder how Stanford would do if Chryst had to play.  You'd like to think Stanford wouldn't fall apart like TCU has.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2015

TCU was terrible with the backup QB. Then they went to the 3rd string guy and moved the ball enough to score on HAPLESS Kansas.

Re: Week 11 in opponents - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2015

Northwestern one first down from being 8-2.

And NW wins 21-14.  8-2 and playing Wisconsin next week.
