Rhonda Rousey got knocked out. I don't even follow UFC, and I'm in shock.

I just saw that on FS1 and she got knock the F*** out. She got demolished.
I still think UFC is barbarian, savage and violent. For those reasons, I donʻt care for UFC at all.

Why would I care if two chicks doing some taekwando mashup kick each other in the head? Maybe I'll be less grumpy about this artificial sport's developments next week...or when, say, our daughters and granddaughters come to Stanford on a kickboxing athletic scholarship.

Technically, Holm is a boxer, and Rousey is a judoka. Having said that, how did Rousey forget to learn boxing before fighting a boxer? Protect your head.
I'm not an MMA fan, and if football is coming under fire for concussions, there should be no way that MMA ever finds its way into collegiate athletics.
