ND's playoff hope was small but I love that we crushed their hope.  I love it.  This win is so much bigger the fact that it was against ND and it's senior night.  What a great way to send out the seniors. The seniors will forever remember their final game on Stanford Stadium.

Hail Stanford Hail! 

Now let's go win the PAC12 title and the Rose Bowl. Or do we still have a playoff chance?

Not worried about vanishing playoff hopes.

ACC, Big 10, Big 12 locked in. Guess people can root for the Noles and hope for the best, but SC is going to be tough enough as it is.

I think Ohio State would go to the Rose over Iowa if Iowa loses to MSU. If Iowa wins, it will be a close cal between MSU or Ohio State.

I think we go if UNC or Florida win. I give UNC a 40% chance, and Florida ~15%, so thats still better than 50-50.

UNC won't beat us out, their OOC has two FCS teams, and the ACC is just hot garbage. Clemson's sole saving grace is their win over ND, but they haven't looked great either. Played close by Syracuse, eked out a win against South Carolina who just lost to Citadel.

This one definitely counts as a Hogan comeback!
That despite Shaw's best efforts to not let him have it (I'm not critzicing it, not at the moment anyway, too happy to be petty)

Just hearing Shaw on the radio interview now, he says he wanted to trust his defense, but was confident on Hogan's ability to drive back if he had a minute or two after they scored. Guess a minute or two ended up being 30 seconds, but who's counting now.
He also spoke about Hogan being the best two minute qb in the nation, about how he and his family cared about this game more than any other, and for wanting to make up for last year's game which was one of his worse.

I couldn't be happier, what an awesome, awesome game.

I think Big 10 champ goes, period. Ditto Big 12.

There will be hell to pay if 2 loss Stanford jumps a 1 loss UNC that just took out #1. So that's three spots. Go Gators!!! Buckeyes lurk.

Not dead yet. Tuesday's ranking will be very interesting.

No way a conference is getting 2 teams in for the foreseeable future. I feel like the longer the CFP stays at 4 the more that ND and the ACC champ are looking at one spot between the two.

I don't think there's hell to pay. The fact is the ACC is just not really that good. UNC is not a top 4 team in the country, and I think the committee will realize that.

Yes, this was a special game.  I like what the announcers said about Ukropina as this boyish looking fellow was riding around on some big shoulders.  "He will remember this moment when he is an old man."
