Today in coaching attrition (and non-attrition) -
BostonCard - 11-29-2015
So the news yesterday was that rumors of the impending demise of Les Miles coaching career at LSU were overblown (or, that the realized he was being an idiot).
Today, Mark Richt, head coach at Georgia is out.
Rumors are swirling that Rutgers is cleaning house and will fire its AD and head coach.
Mike London is out at Virginia
I believe we are up to 15 head coaching vacancies:
Georgia, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Mizzou, North Texas, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Toledo, Tulane, UCF, ULM, USC, UVA
Virginia Tech is replacing Frank Beamer with Justin Fuente, from Memphis. Good hire.
I am sure there are others...
Meanwhile USC has quietly told Chip Kelly "If you want to come back to college..."

I've never been a particular fan of Les Miles but I would love to see him ditch LSU for another power 5 program.

I don't think he'll be there too many years more. With what the administration put he and his family through, and his assistants, was absurd and has got to sour the relationship.

Yeah I don't see him getting any kind of contract extension unless he wins another national championship.

If I were Miles, after the bowl game, I would take a month to think about telling them to take their job and shove it.
