Derrick Henry wins Walter Camp. Congrats to him and his fine season. Obviously I'm disappointed that Christian was not bestowed the honor. We understand that the Voldemort has become what it is now. The Maxwell is still out there. The parameters for the Maxwell are much more defined than the Voldemort but I thought the Walter Camp was parallel to the Maxwell regarding ideology. Toby's loss still hurts me for him and his teammates (esp. O-line) as he was far and away the finest college football player in 2009. Just an absolutely embarrassing injustice. I will never entirely let that go. The last few days I was actually starting to have optimism that Christian has a chance but this may be the first nail in the Voldemort coffin.

Why are you worried about this as an omen? Looking at the past few years a bunch of players have won this who went on to lose the Voldemort, sometimes quite badly, including Luck in 2011.
