Frank Alustiza was the starting QB for Stanford's Rose Bowl teams in 1933, 1934 and 1935.  He lost two and won one.

Rick Leach started at QB for Michigan in the Rose Bowl in 1976, 1977 and 1978.  He lost each time.

Thanks Spiney.  So I assume if we win this one Hogan will become the QB with the most Rose Bowl wins.  That would be sweet for Kevin.

tied for most wins, in the recent past John David Booty was 2-0, there might, or might not, be others

In the recent past, Vince Young won two Rose Bowls also.  Likely among the few non-Pac 8/10/12 or Big 10 QBs to do so.
