He's coming back, right? Was it just me, or did was he showing signs of becoming a beast at the Rose Bowl? He just seemed faster, bigger, stronger than he ever has, no?

He looked really good -- but I wonder whether this was a favorable matchup for him. He's best when attacking downhill; not so great in coverage or laterally. Iowa's offense didn't challenge those weaknesses. (Happy, of course, to be proven wrong.)

Speaking of inside linebackers, I think Jones got in at the end of the game. Did Noor Davis at all?

I believe Davis played as part of more aggressive rotation, plus special teams.Â

One other note of interest. We had 7 sacks againstBethard. shittu was the only one to get more than 1 (he was credited with 1.5). Lots of people were invited to that party in thebackfield.

Noor was in very early. First and/or 2nd series

Noor spent the entire pregame catching passes, and warmed up with the RB and TE group. I was waiting to see if he was going to play in any offense packages.
