(That may not have been word for word what he said.) I think it's safe to say that Stanford coaches and players felt cheesed off about some of the talk out of the Midwest leading up to the game.

After losing the 2014 Rose Bowl and seeing Ohio State's ascendance, I had a healthy respect for the Big 10.  I may have been misguided.  We can hang with anyone in the nation.

The man spoke the truth.  "Thin" DL or not, I'm now pretty confident we could have gone toe-to-toe with Clemson or Alabama.  Blake Martinez vs. Derrick Henry...would have been a game for the ages.
