Good, let him start with a chip on his shoulder - BostonCard - 01-12-2016

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2607080-despite-loss-deshaun-watson-became-the-Voldemort-trophy-front-runner-for-2016

Quote:With apologies to fellow superstar Christian McCaffrey and his video-game moves for Stanford, it will be Watson who will headline preseason Voldemort lists and magazine covers in a few short months. That much was clear in his heroic attempt to lead a bruised and battered Tigers team to the verge of immortality against an Alabama juggernaut and one of college football's best defenses.

Yeah, it's a bleacher report, but I hope the article is a reflection of the CFB thinking on next year's Voldemort race.  Let Watson be the front-runner.

I will say that Watson looked..Voldemort-y yesterday. If anything - it made me mad that Derrick Henry beat both Watson and McCaffrey!

Agreed. There were two legitimate candidates this year, Watson and McCaffrey. Henry winning it is beyond absurd.

How absurd the award was - Hulk01 - 01-12-2016

Henry won because the voters decided he is the game's best power back.

In yards gained after contact this season, the game's best power back ranked ninth.

In his conference.

Trent Richardson 2.0.  Wonder how he would have done without that Bama OL cratering opposing defenses.
