I don't mean to suggest that you may have been a bit lax in your hyphenation, but please confirm, what is to go here?
  (a) football-related topics that are not about Stanford ("non-Stanford football" comments) 
  (b) non-football, but Stanford-related topics? 
Or © ALL non-Stanford-football topics (if it isn't about Stanford's football program, then it goes here)

I initially thought you must have meant ©, but then I was confused since the hyphenation supported (a).  That just didn't make sense to me.

I'd certainly support making another board (like "Recruiting talk", within the CARDboard) that dealt with all topics other than Stanford football.  That would make it much more efficient for the football fans to avoid the few other posts that would be relegated to the hinterland.
