Poor kid. That's just so they have a QB to tackle during practice. He may never walk again.

I don't think there'll be anything at NFL speed except for the crew working the broadcast. They'll be scrimmaging each other.
I just posted a video of Super Bowl XIX on a separate thread--in it, Mark Solatu played Joe Montana for the same sort of deal and it was no pads, more like flag football, but probably a really cool experience for high school kids.

My younger son is a Lancer. He doesn't care much about football but he said the buzz on campus was pretty big and the varsity football players all have s***-eating grins.
