There are close to 50 offers. Seems like there should be at least a dozen from that group worthy of listing in the prospects category of this post.

I wish we'd say, "has committed" rather than "is committed."Â The latter may be open to misinterpretation.

I know he will be a 2017 counter, but I think it is worth drawing a distinction between him (as he has been through the process, knows what, if anything stands between him and admission, and has chosen to delay his enrollment) and those who have committed so far in 2017, for whom admissions status is a complete unknown. PLus, if anyone searches for him in the recruiting sites under 2017, they won't find him.

Question - Would it be better to say "Admitted but not committed" as the admission status isn't really dependent on the commitment? Small point, as I already understand what you're saying.

Of course, as written, there is no way to know whether the heading refers to A) admits, commits, and prospects from year 2017; B) we've gotten over two-thousand commitments, admits and prospects. Thankfully, the Oxford comma eliminates the possibility that we have massively over-signed, and also have some admits and prospects.

Of course, as written, there is no way to know whether the heading refers to A) admits, commits, and prospects from year 2017; B) we've gotten over two-thousand commitments, admits and prospects. Thankfully, the Oxford comma eliminates the possibility that we have massively over-signed, and also have some admits and prospects.
