Kevin Hogan draft diary - g1313 - 02-19-2016

Hogan will be doing regular blog posts on his experience in the draft. Also, he is apparently going to be writing a book about his experiences at Stanford.

I find this window into the behind-the-scene world of an NFL draft prospect to be fascinating.Â Kevin sounds like he is maximizing his opportunity to play in the NFL.Â I hope he can pull it off.

I wish Gruden had invited Hogan to his QB camp.Â You'd think the successor to the guy who threw the Venus on the Spider 2 Y Banana would get an invitation.

Anyhow, this morning I got the most laughs ever as a Stanford sports fan listening to Boston sports talk radio.Â They dissected Goff's appearance on Gruden's QB camp.Â They got much mirth about Goff's small hands.Â Their neutral assessment of Goff confirms our biased viewpoint: "overrated" and "a douche".

Although he seems like a long shot to get drafted or make an NFL roster, we might find out the answer anyway if he plays in the preseason.Â Hard to imagine that he'd say Michigan though.Â He only played in 4 games, and I think he played exclusively on special teams coverage units.
