We have our QB!! - Hulk01 - 03-15-2016

Davis Mills has committed to Stanford.

This guy looks fabulous on film, and could help us draw in the two great WRs we want in this upcoming class.

Chryst, Costello and Mills might be--they likely are-- the best threesome to sign with any school over the last four classes.  Rivals considered each of them the #2 QB in his class.

I am excited!  He looks like an excellent prospect. 

If you are looking at the average recruiting ranking of Chryst, Costello, and Mills, I also suspect that average ranking is better than any other school's average QB ranking over the last 4 years.  I hope that translates into 3 all-conference performers.

It could have been 4 top-5 QB's in four years, though there is no telling what offering Rosen would have done to the Costello and Mills' mental calculus.

Of course, now the hard part.  Chryst, Costello, and Mills have to live up to their billings.

Well, two out of three is probably fine ... in fact if things go well, all three may not have a chance to do so.

He probably told both of them, "We have sent an offer to you and one other QB.  We will take whichever one of you commits first."  And if they didn't, the info is out there.

In a big class taking multiple QBs is justifiable. In a small class, like this one -- probably in the 13-17 range, per Shaw -- it doesn't make sense.
