Ducks sink at Sunken again - JJJ - 05-27-2016

Following a 2-1 victory Thursday night where our pitchers gave up only 3 hits, Stanford pitching holds the Ducks to just two hits and a 4-2 win on Friday. 

Sweep tomorrow would give us a .500 conference record, which is something. First pitch 1pm PDT Saturday.

Castellanos went 7 2/3 innings and 120-ish pitches; Tyler Thorne completes the inning. Good Guys up 3-1 after T8!

Swept Ducks at Sunken Diamond. 3-1.
We finish 15-15 in conference, and 31-23 overall.
Much better than last year for sure.

but not yet good enough to be in playoff contention... even if 0.500 in Pac12 and 31-23 winning season overall

RPI way too low...

pitching and defense good even with Quantrill MIA this entire season... but our hitting just  too anemic

Sad that "Next Up" is the June draft. At least we disrupted the Ducks' plans for a post-season appearance. Thanks, Juniors and Seniors!
