New thread off "Brock Turner sentenced" and sexual violence "Larger question.."" - robin - 06-21-2016

Our younger daughter brought this article to my attention today, I shared it with my husband, and he agreed to/helped me formulate this "new topic" posting:

I wonder if there will be victims' statements released as well...I'm not entirely sure justice was served, but the law seems to have been followed.

I only just saw this, and don't know if it was posted elsewhere, but pretty powerful stuff. Mike Riley is being held accountable and taking responsibility.

It's a powerful thing to give survivors a voice.  See the Turner victim's letter, and now Brenda Tracy's words.  I'd like to know what Riley said to the team following Tracy's talk.
