OT: Pat Summitt -
BostonCard - 06-27-2016
Evidently her Alzheimer's disease is progressing and she is not doing well.

Sad to hear.

If you offered me a million Geno's it still wouldn't equal one Pat Summit.

Tough as nails, Pat Summitt.

Sad news - it looks like
she's passed. What a legend.

Mechelle Voepel has a typically well-written tribute:

I wonder how much she knew or understood about her dirt bag son's actions.

Can you explain that statement?

I avoided posting links to it on this thread, but you can google Tyler Summitt and Louisiana Tech for more details. It's sad and in no way befitting of Pat's legacy to basketball. (He became a very young--married--head coach and then impregnated a player. He resigned.)

Isn't he accused of having a relationship with one of his players?

I've always wondered this, but especially now in the wake of the deaths of Pat Summitt and Muhammad Ali.Â
It seems like the moment their deaths were announced, ESPN released beautiful eulogy videos about their lives, narrated by Jeremy Schapp.Â
Makes me think that ESPN must have these videos pre-made and sitting in a Dropbox folder...
I wonder who else ESPN has pre-made eulogy videos for...

All news organizations do this death prep for celebrities....some more in-depth than others.

I hope they got Jeremy Schapp to narrate the ESPN pre-made eulogy video for himself. I can just imagine, "ESPN commemorates the life of legendary sports broadcaster Jeremy Sch--WAIT WHAT THE HELL???"
