This is weird. Neither Vaughters nor Wright have been on the Stanford Football tweets, but Remound retweeted a Cardinal Report tweet that he and Vaughters are confirmed. I hope they know they have to fax those LOIs.

Vaughters\' came in at 8:59 a.m. our time. :)

Vaughters is on board!
I love how they announced Kelsey Young as "the next blockbuster back from Norco."

Wondering if the weather has anything to do with the delay from Remound. Â Sure, he could fax from home, but if he was planning on doing this in any public ceremony, or if he simply has no working fax machine at home, the storm might delay things. Â just a thought. Â I think now everyone but Wright and P. Skov is in, from our verbal list.
Has anyone heard anything about Lake Koa-Ka\'ai? Â A last minute change of heart from Oregon to us? Â

we should fix that script... makes it look like we\'re calling Mike Montgomery ungrateful.

Wright just tweeted: "just signed wit the #4 team in the country. my scholarship is worth $54,600 dollars just for one year. thats crazy. God has blessed me."

Stanford Football twitter just announced receiving Wrights letter. Â Skov is the only one I haven\'t seen yet, I think.
Re: Where to follow Stanford LOI news - ealtice - 02-02-2011
Scout\'s page for Lake is now indicating that he has signed his LOI with Oregon. Â Oh well, a last minute switch would have been a cosmic balancing for last year\'s Zumwalt flip, but I guess it was too much to hope for.
Re: Where to follow Stanford LOI news - Pastor - 02-02-2011
I believe that Lake said his second choice was Nebraska and not us.
Re: Where to follow Stanford LOI news - ealtice - 02-02-2011
He did say that, but I think that was before he was admitted. Â Anyway, I suppose the point is moot now.

Some USC Schadenfreude is always enjoyable.

More schadenfreude for USC: 4-star ATH De\'Anthony Thomas switches at the last moment to Oregon. We\'ll see this guy in conference...but he won\'t be wearing a Trojan uniform.
Quote:His decision has not only impacted USC and Oregon but it has played a major influence in the final Rivals.com recruiting rankings. If Thomas would have stayed with the Trojans, they were projected to finish No. 1 for the second consecutive year. However, since the Black Mamba changed to Oregon, Alabama will stay in the No. 1 spot.

Folks, I was on travel for a while there and only now am I trying to get a sense of the final buzz on how the year\'s football recruiting ultimately went. Looked down the Cardboard and didn\'t see a thread that seemed to offer the For Dummies version for me.
Are there a few bold bullet points someone could give me -- high and low points on offense and defense? Â Any names to remember and keep my eyes open for? Â Also... any grade that you\'d give the overall outcome?
thx much
