Jayne Appel-Marinelli, a Stanford Great in her own right, has announced her retirement at the end of this WNBA season to let her body rest and to pursue life after basketball.

That was fun to watch. I will never forget her 46 point game against Iowa State in 2009 to get us to the final four.
