it\'ll be an interesting experiment to see how much prior experience counts these days in college football. Â if not, then it speaks to the level of play or complexity of playbooks at the top high school levels these days.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "downfall".
If you mean USC will be mediocre for another year or two, perhaps.
If you mean the Trojans are done as a football power, while it wouldn\'t bother me, I seriously doubt it.

Speaking of the subject, it seems the NCAA posse will be after Kiffin for dirty deeds done in Tennessee:

Do folks think this will have some residual effect when it comes to the NCAA\'s re-evaluation of the U$C sanctions? If the NCAA had a history of rational decisions, I\'d say yes. However.....

I\'m also interested to see if they\'re just going after Kiffin jnr or also going after his merry band of assistants. If it\'s the latter--and the penalty is something like being banned from the recruiting trail--penalties could have a serious effect (especially when stacked on top of the scholarship penalties).
