Preseason Ranking - Extra Point - 02-24-2011

Anyone who thinks that the football "experts" actually analyze college football teams needs to read this: http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2011/2/24/2011854/college-football-rankings-stanford-perched-at-no-6-in-2011-preseason

So, the definition of "expert" is as follows:
Quote:I\'m a weekend blogger for SB Nation and a student at the University of Florida. I was born and raised in the shadows of the space program, and have an unhealthy fascination with Reggie Nelson. I also read way too much of the Internet.

Also..... - CowboyIndian - 02-24-2011

but Owen Marecic\'s return bolsters a unit that should be strong.  :-?

C\'mon, guys, the folks on SB Nation and Bleacher Report don\'t coach football. They don\'t follow it. They don\'t have access to coaches. They don\'t go to practice. They\'re just guys with computers.

Some of them do, some of them don\'t. I think the guys at Every Day Should Be Saturday are wonderful, and some of the other SB Nation blogs are quite interesting too. (And someone like Yahoo\'s Matt Hinton is really smart.) The key is to take them on a case by case basis.

Except for Bleacher Report, which is a giant barnacle on the side of S.S. Internet.
