Re: Checking in on Randy Hart - winflop - 09-28-2016

I like the part where he said there will be two future college coaching HOF members on the field Friday night.  Didn't know he had that much respect for Lance Anderson :P

Re: Checking in on Randy Hart - CornFed - 09-28-2016

"Much of the buildup this week has centered on Washington quarterback Jake Browning. He’s been featured by ESPN and USA Today, and Sports Illustrated has him in the top five in its Voldemort watch this week."

Really?  He is top 5 Voldemort material?  That has totally escaped my attention.  It really snuck up on me.  [snark]

Re: Checking in on Randy Hart - fullmetal - 09-29-2016

I hope Hart gets some facetime with the Stanford players he recruited no matter whose colors he's wearing.  For having coached the Stanford DL from the 2010 season through the 2015 season, he produced some great defensive lines despite not having access to the the kind of talent pool to which $EC schools can have access.

"You think that's good enough?  This is the Rose Bowl!  Do it again!"

Re: Checking in on Randy Hart - ColoradoTree - 09-29-2016

Hart's polite refusal to pick sides is the only diplomatic thing to do, given his long ties to UW and the fact that he'll be honored with the rest of the '91 team at halftime.  That said, you have to think he'll want to see guys he's actually coached, like Thomas and Phillips, do well.  Hopefully, those guys can have a big ol' party in the backfield and push Coach Hart off that fence!
