Maybe there's good news in this: with no one watching, CMac will probably get 300+ APY...

Thanks Pac-12, no one's ever doing anything on the Saturday night before Halloween!

Wow. Those 10:30 ET (actually usually 10:41 ET) starts are bad enough, but now 11pm ET, which probably nets out to like 11:10 ET!?!?!!?Â
Nice to be able to see the game (when you don't have Pac-12 Network), but man, what a brutal start time. And what casual fan flips on FS1 at that time?
Might be more people watching from stands than on TV...

I will be one of those people watching from the stands. Who else will be there? Hoping that we don't have a Halloween Horror Show which almost happened in Pullman a year ago.

It is Pac-12 After Dark, but at least it is on FS1.
Stanford's O is boring and Arizona is bad. Not quite sure what time everyone thought Stanford @ Arizona would get, but that time seems logical given the Pac-12 slate of times. Stanford as a team in the CFP picture most of the last five years has not been a part of too many Pac-12 After Dark games, but this time for kick is very common across the Pac-12.
The SEC and the Big12 are more than willing to kick at 7PM or even 8PM local time in their time zones, so the broadcasters want the Pac-12 to start after those games. That's what they paid for, and therefore that is what we get.
The Pac-12 After Dark concept does make it easier for many adults with children or grandchildren in youth sports. The family can go watch the kids play no matter when their game is scheduled to start and then slide on over to the stadium to watch the college kids. At Stanford people fans seem to zip away from Stanford Stadium at 9:30PM, but in most other places in the USA the fans stay until much later at night.
Most importantly, Pac-12 After Dark is probably better for the players as it is unlikely to be brutally hot at that time of day.

Wow, I hate those late starts. I won tickets to the game; was really hoping for an afternoon kickoff so I'm not wandering around in the dark. :(

U.S.C played at Arizona on Saturday in an afternoon game. Reported temperature on the field - 137 degrees.Â

I live in Tucson, and sadly, will not be in town for the game. I have a conference in Anaheim that week, the wife thought it would be great to tag along and take the kids to Disney and Universal. So, sadly, my friend (a local coffee shop owner) will be in my seats. He promised he would wear my fear the tree shirt for me though.

I'll be in town, so I intend to attend the game.

Late OCtober games in Arizona shouldn't crack triple digits. It would be good if the Pac-12 made all of Arizona/ASU's games in September late starts, but gave them a break later in the season.

Well, it would be good if the Pac-12 scheduling did lots of things, but they sold the sport to the highest bidder and this is what we get.
