Stanford injuries for Oregon -
Spiny_Norman - 11-08-2016
It appears that for the 7th consecutive game, Stanford will have a different starting offensive line. From RJ Abeytia on twitter:
"Neither Fanaika nor Tucker anywhere to be seen on the depth chart, so have to think injuries from Saturday holding them out . . . Per the Stanford depth chart, we have yet another o line combination.... Bright-Caspers-Burkett-Herbig-Hall R to L"
Injuries and turnover on the o-line have to be a significant cause of weak or at least inconsistent OL play.Â

That was the group that played most of the game against OSU, as Fanaika went out pretty early. They did pretty well other than Burkett suddenly forgetting how to snap the ball :-X, which of course is no fault of the lineup changes.

Good news that Marx is back on the depth chart!!! He could help mask some of the OL issues.

To my eyes, Reagan Williams has played much better than he did when Marx first went out. Also, I'm glad to see Harrell back getting a few snaps as a backfield blocker.
I don't think Williams starts over a healthy Marx, but I've been impressed by his improvement.

Is that Williams who's been impressing? Shoot, I kept thinking it was Harrell. The cameras never seem to give me a look at their backs in time.

Wow, great to hear Fanaika is as good as "doubtful", that is, consider he was helped off the field with a cart last Saturday.
