Skov again on spec teams. Got one LB snap when Bellore went out. Came right back.

Philly fans have started a Kickstarter to fund the Eagles' cap hit if Nelson Agholor could be cut:

As in...they want Agholor gone. Looking at the film, they might have a point.

I'm not following this closely at all, but headlines make it look like Elway is a genius GM.

And speaking of Goff:

It doesn't matter who's QBing for the Rams--that offense is going to stink, and the QB will be tarred by association. I sorta feel bad for Goff since he has to deal with Jeff Fisher as his coach...them's the breaks.

Just for giggles, I went back and checked Luck's NFL debut. It was against Chicago and while he did throw a TD, he also threw 3 INTs (one to former bare Chris Conte). So judgment should probably be reserved.

Elway offered Brock a big deal too, just not as big. If the Broncos hadn't treated him like dirt through his tenure then he probably would've taken it and Elway would look quite a bit dumber. Sometimes luck is more important than skill with these things.

Congrats to Kyle Murphy for seeing his first NFL action for Green Bay.
He came in with 2:26 left in the 4th quarter, at Right Guard.
On his 4th play in the game, back up QB B. Hundley threw an interception and Murphy made the tackle.

I understand Blake Martinez left the game with a known injury. Does anyone know anything more?

Having tests done on his knee today. It actually didn't look like a serious injury, so hoping for good news.

Are you sure about that? I could have sworn he played earlier this season due to injuries on the Packer OLine.

He only dressed for one or two other games this season. He got a lot of minutes in the preseason.

Apparently Doug Baldwin prefers to catch TDs rather than throw them:
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/doug-baldwin-explains-why-he-flipped-off-his-oc-before-throwing-a-touchdown/
He also spent his day off Monday testifying about police violence. He has had several meetings with law enforcement this season in an attempt to have constructive dialog beyond kneeling during the national anthem.Â
http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/seahawks-doug-baldwin-calls-for-washington-to-change-state-law-on-police-use-of-deadly-force/
Sorry if that second part violates the political discussion rules of the Cardboard.

It's people like Baldwin, whose father was in law enforcement, who will have the greatest leverage in driving change. Not only does he have a platform, he has the background and context for this.Â
I'm not sure flipping off his OC was the most productive public action ever though...amusing but crude.

The article now says that Luck is unlikely to go. It's a really terrible situation...I hope he doesn't come back too early.
