Great stat on ESPN right now - washingtonismoney - 12-05-2016

Luck's had to deal with 32 different line combinations during his career. That's the most of any quarterback, during his first five years in the league, since 1970.

That stat should be bookmarked and shared with any knucklehead criticizing Luck's decision making and errors. Sure, he presses it, but there's a reason he has to take risks. He could play it safe and lose or take some chances and win a few.

During tonight's telecast, Gruden basically said what FarmBoy said.

With a few Spider 2 Y Banana references to boot. Gruden and Luck just can't quit the Banana.

The funny thing is, you can.

Lost in all this is the fact that Luck and the Colts had themselves a nice day against the hapless Jets, winning 41-10.  Luck's line was 22/28 (79%), 278 yards (9.9 ypa), 4 TD, 0 INT and a pER of 147.6.  And while the Jets may not be great, they do feature Darrelle Revis in their defensive backfield, and Luck and TY Hilton victimized him repeatedly.  FWIW, the 421 yards of offense were the most the Jets allowed since week 8 of 2014.

So, not bad for a guy in his first game back from a concussion.
