Now I'm curious who the contributors are. I think Elway and Plunkett are 7, and Michigan is only Brady (in some ways that makes this even more ridiculous). Montana gets ND to 4, who are the rest from? Besides Brees I have no idea for Purdue...

Len Dawson and Bob Griese are both Boilermakers. Notre Dame also has two others (Joe Theismann and Daryle Lamonica). Alabama is the only other school to have three different starting QBs in the Super Bowl (Bart Starr, Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler)

C.al's QBs - Craig Morton, Joe Kapp, Aaron Rodgers. Is that correct?
Notice some of the schools that are missing because they have NEVER had a starting Super Bowl QB - U.SC, Ohio State, Oklahoma (I don't count Aikman because he only played one year at OU before transferring)

you can see all of them here
the chart in the original post excludes University's with only 1 SB QB appearance

I completely overlooked Cal but I won't feel bad about it. And if you include Vince Ferragamo who started at Cal before transferring to Nebraska, Cal has the most different Super Bowl winning QBs with four. Then again, they haven't been to a Rose Bowl since the Super Bowl started.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Morton, Kapp, and Ferragamo were not Super Bowl "winning" QBs.

Looks like Wisconsin gets credit over NC State for Russell Wilson even though he graduated from the latter and was a rent-a-player from the former.

One more for UC - Gale Gilbert (he was on five SB teams).
Only Aaron Rodgers was on a SB winner.

The list appears to be SB starting QBs which would not include Gale Gilbert
