WVB Coaching Staff - paloalto - 02-09-2017
On the team's webpage it shows Hambly as head coach and Denise as associate coach. Cassidy is no longer shown on the webpage. Did Lichtman leave the team?

Thanks for the response Bobk. I should probably just PM you my questions rather than make a thread. I am guessing she found out coaching is not her passion. However, she picked a heck of a season to experience coaching. So Hambly gets to pick his own assistant and volunteer assistant.Â

Our volunteer assistant Taylor is now at Santa Clara and I'm sure as a paid coach.Â
We were so lucky to have Cass and maybe it was always for just the one year.Â

Denise staying now official.  Hambly stated that during the mvb broadcast.

Good to hear she's staying. It always seemed to me that Denise was the "glue" of the program. We talk about "glue" players, maybe she's the "glue" coach. ;)

Also, Denise teaches (or at least used to teach) the DAPER physical education class in volleyball, which can be taken P/F for 1 unit, and which I took some 20 years ago.

That is great to hear, I was hoping she'd be kept on! I wonder if she has any interest in ever being a head coach, I actually thought there was a chance of that happening (with no actual knowledge of the likelihood, just that she's been part of the staff so long). Glad she's staying, hope she gets a raise after last year :)
