A few remarks.
On scoring, Alanna is our second most efficient scorer and nearly as efficient as Erica. Karlie is not among the top three scorers and is well off their pace. Probably because she attracts so much defensive attention.
The stats confirm our fears--Kaylee and Marta are such limited offensive threats that it helps the defense focus on the remaining three. I continue to believe that each of them can actually be very good offensively--but that talent rarely gets unlocked.
Kaylee continues to be our best rebounder. Dijonai is right up there.
Britt and Marta have more turnovers than anyone who plays very much, Karlie and Bri have the fewest.
Karlie has by far the best assist/TO ratio, Bri and Marta, while opposites in so many ways, are virtually tied. Bri has fewer assists and fewer turnovers but they wind up with the same ratio. So Tara always has to choose between low risk/low reward and high risk/high reward. I really wonder about Alexa and, of course, Anna Wilson. How would Alexa do at point?Â
Erica is not much for assists out of the paint, which may explain some of our three point difficulties. Posts don't have to assist a lot, but even so...

Thanks for the statistic analysis, 81.
With Marta and Kaylee's offensive struggles, I really wish we could see how they scored in high school. I know it's certainly a brobdingnagian step up from high school to D-1, but that doesn't mean these players who were among the top 50 in the entire nation, suddenly developed amnesia when they stepped onto the Farm and forgotten all their offensive moves. They were both double digit scorers in high school. Marta has shown us that she can make jumpers, even long-range ones on occasion, so I feel, maybe it's a lack of confidence or self-belief that she can hit jumpers. She might feel that it's a smarter or higher percentage play to pass up the open jumper to pass to a teammate who is more accustomed to hitting them? Just a wild guess.
In terms of assists from our posts, I wonder how well Appel and the Ogwumikes would stack up in terms of assists.
On the one hand, Karlie is not very efficient in terms of raw scoring production, but if you look at her shooting percentages, she's the best among our regular players, especially considering that most of her shots are jumpers, rather than layups. Erica may be producing most efficiently, but she's getting a lot of shot opportunities and as a post scorer, she should have a shooting percentage above 50%.
I am really excited about the day that Alanna can really put it all together. Perhaps next year with three starters graduating, she'll be able to play more consistent minutes and develop a rhythm, because I think with her strength, height and range, she can certainly average 15+ points a game and be really difficult to guard.

I am just as excited about Alanna's improvement as defender. She does well on the help, seems to do very well cutting off driving angles; and has become a more aggressive rebounder.
Looking at the stats she has 18 blocks in conf. play - Erica has 19 in twice the minutes
