New admissions to the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame - Spiny_Norman - 06-13-2017
Nine student-athletes have been announced as additions to the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame - Jarron and Jason Collins from men's basketball, Rachel Buehler from women's soccer, Jackie Frank from women's water polo, John Gall from baseball, Cassidy Krug from women's diving, Arianna Lambie from women's cross country, Ryan Nelsen from men's soccer, and D.ick Norman from football.

and BobK how many yards did he gain in that last drive that ended at the Cal 5 as I recall? Would have been interesting if he had ever had a good team to support him. My years at Stanford were not marked by good football teams.

As I recall, Norman threw for over 100 yards on the last drive. There were several penalties that called plays back which hurt us a lot. Of course he didn't get credit for the yards gained on the plays called back so the 100 yards will never appear in any record book. It was an amazing performance in a losing cause.Â

Can't believe that Norman didn't make the HOF 50+ years ago.
