The article elaborates on why Olson was chosen over the likes of free agents such as Kap--it's primarily because the Ravens have no interest in starting a QB controversy and thus picked a guy who would clearly not contend (ouch). Having said that, I hope Olson blows them away with skills yet unseen. Right now, Olson is just a live arm to feed the WRs while Flacco is out.

I confess I had no memory of David Olson whatsoever, which was probably the most surprising thing for me. Looks like he also did the grad transfer thing before it became more popular.
