Well that was fast...sucks.

Can't beat that early enrollment

My bet he is thinking three and out.  Stanford is not the place for someone to come in 2019 expecting to start as a Freshman, and it is doubtful he could beat out a Mills with two years experience under his belt.  So it would be redshirt and hope to start as a Soph but no guarantee if Mills returns as Luck did.

Mills is barely even on campus.  To pencil him in as a starter is silly. Plenty of highly rated qb's have been busts, or passed over by even more highly rated qb's before or after.  It's not like the presence of top rated Max Browne keptb Sam Darnold from playing.

Like I thought, Daniels commits before Amon-Ra St. Brown.

If Stanford lands McKee, which seems likely, not getting Daniels will certainly be mitigated.  I'm just hoping Davis Mills is better than all of them.

I hope they all can play, Costello included and then you don't have a situation like the Sun Bowl when your #1 goes down and the next guy can't deliver.

Given what Daniels seems to want (early entrance, early playing time, and a quick exit to the NFL) his choosing U$C doesn't particularly surprise me. Regardless of whether Mills lives up to his HS rankings, Stanford quarterback recruits these days seem to have to wait a couple of years to play.

McKee would be 2020.  What's Plan B for 2019? I hope Shavitagren don't skip another year for a QB recruit.

Weird.  He announces a Top 4 on Saturday.  We offer McKee on Saturday.  Bam he commits to $C on Sunday.  Normally you would see more time between a finalist announcement and then a commitment...

My guess is if Corall stayed committed to USC, Stanford would have secured a Daniels commitment.  But who knows, maybe the Stanford staff likes McKee more than Daniels?

McKee is going on a 2-year mission.  He is basically a 2020 recruit.
