Player ejected from practice for "tackling" CMac in non contact drill. Player claimed CMac faked him off his feet and he fell into CMac inadvertently.

I think many football fans, and not just Stanford fans, are anxious to see what McCaffrey can do playing NFL ball.
Reggie Bush was probably that most recent high profile "multi threat" offensive player to enter the NFL, and that was a decade ago. Reggie's NFL career was "o.k.", he lasted 10 years which is well above average. But I think the expectations for McCaffrey are higher than than they were for Bush.

What I really wish is that the Panthers would shut down all these leaks coming from their practices. I can't have McCaffrey getting any more hype than he already has. The more people believe that he can't succeed, the easier it will be for me to draft him in my fantasy league.

I'm not so sure about that. Bush was long seen as a potential #1 overall pick, and he went #2 overall. The hype was pretty incredible surrounding him, and I think he was expected to immediately be great. He wasn't. I think Christian's expectations are certainly high, and those of us on this board can't wait to see what he does, but I think the expectations for Bush were greater than they are for Christian. Maybe not by much, but greater.Â

For those who aren't aware, Panthers and Texans play at 7:30pm ET on NFLN. Get to see McCaffrey and DeShaun Watson on same field. Too bad it never happened in college, but they did have the H ceremony together.

I don't think CMac will get the workload of a RB1 that would generate substantial fantasy value. My guess is that his upside is a serviceable RB2 with borderline RB1 value in a PPR league. I also want to make sure Jonathan Stewart takes the brunt of opposing defenses so as to keep CMac from injury and lengthen CMac's career. I'd draft CMac as a RB2/3...but I hope I'm wrong and he turns out to have RB1 value on limited touches 8)

AFTER TOBY FLAMED OUT IN THE LEAGUE EVEN THOUGH HE GOT PLENTY OF REST BEHIND A.P., I QUIT TRYING TO PROJECT "CAN'T MISS" RB'S INTO THE NFL. BUT I DON'T THINK CMAC'S GOING TO BE ABLE TO PICK WHICH GAMES ARE IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR HIM TO PLAY IN, LET ALONE SPECIAL TEAMS. I FOUND IT CURIOUS HE COULD PLAY AGAINST RICE BUT NOT IN THE BOWL GAME. NOT SURE IF IT'S A CMAC PROBLEM OR A EMAC PROBLEM. I LOVED HIM IN OUR BACKFIELD UNTIL HE OPTED OUT. I HATE THAT IN A BALLER.

I understand that CMAC had 7 carries for 33 yards in the first half. I did not watch any of it.Â

He certainly looked like an NFL player and flashed his ability. No catches, but they tried to set him up for a screen that was broken up.Â
But man does DeShaun Watson look good. He will end up being the best QB taken in the 2017 draft, IMO. The Bears are never going to hear the end of it for drafting Trubisky instead, I'm guessing.

The all knowing cardboard software turns certain words into others. B.ears become 59ers in honor of their last appearance in the Rose Bowl (for the UC team, not Chicago, but the software is indiscriminate).
