Hank - does Blogging With the Enemy continue this season?

For those who don't follow Stanford Football on Facebook.
Might as well keep the Aussie stories in one thread, no?
Quote:BRYCE Love, right now, is quicker than every player in the NRL.
Which is some boast.
At least until you hear this Stanford running back, he wouldve also beat them home by age 13.
Bryce Love, absolutely explosive, warns Cardinal head coach David Shaw. Every time this guy gets the football, you know hes a chance of going all the way.
Set to be unleashed in Sundays US college football opener at Allianz Stadium, Love covers 40 yards in 4.32sec.

Some not so intimidating Love titles:
"Sweet Love" -- Anita Baker
"Love Will Keep Us Together" -- The Captain and Tenille
"Love Will Keep Us Alive" -- Eagles
"Love Will Find a Way" -- Pablo Cruise
(*some of these may have been listed before, but I'm too lazy to go check)

"Love hurts" "Gonna take a lot of Love."Â And of course- "Good Lovin"
As for Rice, interesting that their strength is o-line. Maybe a little front 7 test.

Apropos of nothing. if Jet Toner's nickname isn't Inky, it should be. Or maybe even Laser (laser jet printer).

I'll definitely continue that series, as it's one of my favorite things to do from week to week, but I wasn't able to find a Rice football blog. There are beat writers, of course, but those never turn out as well, in my opinion. Nothing but brief formulaic answers from them. Since I'm not too worried about Rice, I wasn't terribly motivated to beat the bushes for an Enemy to Blog with. But don't worry -- I'll be back for USC.

Laser would be great for a kicker. May he live up to that kind of accuracy.

But, LaserJets don't use Toner. ::)

Uhh...don't they? Have I been putting the wrong stuff in the printer?

Laser printers use dry toner; inkjet printers use liquid ink. LaserJet is a weird brand name, since a printer can't be both laser and (ink)jet. LaserJet brand printers in fact are laser printers and thus they do use toner.

The Hewlett-Packard "Jet" printer family name started with the HP ThinkJet which was a small monochrome Thermal InkJet printer targeted at replacing dot matrix printers.
New members were then added to the family--LaserJet, PaintJet, DeskJet, OfficeJet, DesignJet.

This is the kind of riveting content for which I come to the Cardboard. I'm not leaving until someone mentions 'daisy wheel.'

I see the lengths to which you went in order to avoid a dangling preposition...

SF Gate really needs to do better than this. Whatever Toner is going to be called, Hawaiian really isn't correct (afik). Local boy from Hawaii is accurate.
Quote:Kicker: Redshirt freshman Jet Toner has the unenviable task of trying to replace Conrad Ukropina, most accurate kicker in school history. Toner, a 6-foot-4 Hawaiian, has a hammer of a leg and showed a knack for pressure situations in high school.

Iso-Toner? I mean, he's a kicker, right?
