Actually a much more pro-Stanford article than the headline would indicate:

Yeah, I think that pretty much sums it up.
Is U$C a paper tiger again, or are they the real deal?
The game this evening should go a long way toward answering that question.

While I predict that we will win this game, a win against SC will not significantly change my view that our path to the CFP runs through the Washington schools.  SC is overhyped and did not look elite against UWM.

On the other hand, a close loss to SC today will also not significantly change my view.  Losing to a top ten ranked team should not drop us in the polls very far.  Remember our demoralizing loss to NW?  We went on to complete a very good season.

So . . . let's have some fun watching our team play some rock 'em sock 'em football against a team that is easy to hate.  ;D

For sure. Win or lose, WSU and UW still need to be defeated. It think it MIGHT matter in a 3 way tie, but otherwise, it's not an issue.

There is no team more worthy of hate than US C.  Their decades-long record of arrogance, dirty play, cheating, scandals, and former dominance makes me want to win this game more than any other.

As wonderful as the 2007 upset was, I enjoyed 2009 more.  Running up the score and beating them down with Toby power--dominating the dominators and feeding them their own foul tasting medicine was one of by favorite moments as a fan.

Off to the Coliseum to watch the mighty Cardinal in a great battle and to watch our oldest play in the LSJUMB!  Can't wait and enjoy the game everyday.  The only downside is my in-laws are Trojan fans.  I hope we don't hear that stupid song too much today, but that's too much to ask for and "the only song they know...!"

I'm guessing at least 4 Unsportsmanlike penalties on SC.

Let's win this one!
