Happier news, the Walker Cup and Maverick McNealy - Mick - 09-10-2017

About 1/2 hour ago, Maverick McNealy and his partner Doug Ghim beat Matthew Jordan and Robert MacIntyre 3 and 2 to extend the Americans' lead to 11-5.  Yesterday, Maverick  won his singles against Scott Gregory 3 and 1, and won his foursome (again with Ghim) against David Boote and Jack Davidson, 5 and 4.

Maverick completes play today by batting cleanup.  He's the last singles player and tees off at 2:00 p.m.

McNealy's having a great cup, and the Los Angeles Country Club looks stunning.

McNealy won his singles match today 4&2 as the US regained the Walker Cup, finishing 4-0 as he won both of his singles and both of his foursomes.

Only happier news for Maverick McNealy and the USA.  David Boote was 1-3 as GB&I was routed.

Thanks for the link to the article. I found it to be interesting reading, especially the Scott McNealy quotes.
