He's fantastic. Love his running. Can he catch? Any receptions all year? Would love to see a wheel route once or twice.

He has a reception this game! Also, the first we saw of Love was when as a true freshman he took two screen passes for big gains.

Love is demonstrating a lot more ability to move the pile and get "fall forward yards" than you might expect. He clearly can carry the typical starting RB workload. Hard to imagine him not being the Pac-12 OPOW this week.
Would like to see him more involved in the passing game as well, but beggars can't be choosers, what with Costello playing QB and all.

He is incredible. I hope that he takes a page from Cmac's book and spends this offseason turning himself into an elite slot reciever as well as RB.

You think he'll return for another year if he keeps up anywhere near this pace? Will he even play our bowl game?

Not much Love for the Voldemort Trophy, yet. ESPN apparently has picked their guy to pimp; right after our game, the anchors were endlessly praising Saquon Barkley from Penn State. Currently, he's seventh in rushing, 260 yards and 3 yds/carry behind Love.
Don't understand why the "Voldemort" is traded out for a blank space. Can someone explain the hilarity in that?

I agree as this would enhance his draft stock. However, I am hoping that Love bypasses the NFL completely [due to health risks such as CTE] for medical school.

Saquon Barkley is the best RB I've seen since probably Bo Jackson.
He's got an almost impossible quickness, explosiveness, and speed, combined with the size to punish tacklers. His balance and vision are amazing, and he has great hands. Plus, he's stones guys in pass protection.Â
Love is a great RB. He's just isn't the multi-dimensional physical freak Barkley is. And he's not on a team as good as Barkley's either.Â

Well, she'd totally agree w/ the question marks.

Arguably, even Stanford fans underrate Love. His performance last night was truly one of the ages, and his fourth-quarter TD run was imo as filthy as anything McCaffrey did.

Barry Sanders during his 1988 college session wasn't considered to be the equal of Bo Jackson either.
Love is a young junior, having turned 20 in July. He should have no problem getting to 205 pounds within the next 1-2 years while maintaining his speed & agility. He'll likely measure just above 5'9" at the NFL Combine......which will give him physical measuresables that are actually ideal for a RB per this detailed analysis which states that a Barry Sanders/Emmitt Smith type frame is more productive.

Itll be interesting to see where Love winds up on the draft boards. McCaffrey got drafted so high because of his versatility you also got his receiving and returning skills. Love hasnt yet really shown that to the same extent, so I wouldnt expect him to be a first round player, but beyond that I dont know where hed go.

I guess it's the trophy whose name must not be spoken. Maybe the software should change it to Voldemort instead of a blank space.
